Colder than???

Its colder than a witches tit here in Toronto

But it does not do my new found quilts any harm.....freshens ' em up. I say.

I believe this is called ' Tulip Pot' .....Encyclopedia of Applique   40.24.  It has a nice Pennsylvania Dutch feel about it and perfect 1930s colours.....in good condition too.

A somewhat pedestrian Dresden Plate, 1940s perhaps. Good condition, I might put it in my etsy shop, not sure yet.

  2. I'd be keeping the blue and white too - but then again, that could be because I love blue! Try to stay warm....and batten down the hatches, there's a storm on the way.

    1. So they say. R loves his snow blower though, a big boys toy.

  3. What a ripe expression Jan - haven't heard it in a while.
I love the blue and white quilt too. Do you do as I do with my vintage finds? If I fall in love with something, I live with it for a while and, if I still feel I can't part with it then, I keep it.

    1. I can do better!
I used to feel that way, but sort of changed when I started buying to sell.

  4. I love the colours of the tulip quilt - mauve and yellow remind me of Easter - it's onlyround the corner!

Years ago, my OH had a cheese called 'witches titty' - he said it was very good indeed!
