I believe this is called ' Tulip Pot' .....Encyclopedia of Applique 40.24. It has a nice Pennsylvania Dutch feel about it and perfect 1930s colours.....in good condition too.
A somewhat pedestrian Dresden Plate, 1940s perhaps. Good condition, I might put it in my etsy shop, not sure yet.
The blue and white Dresden Plate one is gorgeous! Keep it ;-)

ReplyDeleteI love the blue and white quilt too. Do you do as I do with my vintage finds? If I fall in love with something, I live with it for a while and, if I still feel I can't part with it then, I keep it.

DeleteI used to feel that way, but sort of changed when I started buying to sell.
I love the colours of the tulip quilt - mauve and yellow remind me of Easter - it's onlyround the corner!
