1930s 40s |
Its a year since I opened my 3rd etsy shop fabriquefantastique, devoted to vintage scarves. If truth be known it is my favorite site because it is so easy to manage. Plus you all know how I love scarves.
|
1940s |
The variety is infinite.....from the delicate late 40s
|
1950s |
to the romantic 50s....that show such a sense of optimism after the austerity war years.
|
1970s |
Got my pics mixed up a bit here....The 60s and 70s with their ( then ) clashing colours.
|
1960s |
On to the Power Dressing 80s.
The scarves take up very little room, fit in an ordinary envelope ( I use
tyvek ones) and can be popped in the letter box at the top of my street.
|
1980s |
And, don't get me started about souvenir scarves......more on those later.
I adore vintage scarves too! Don't tempt me into your shop, I have enough of my own to start an etsy shop too!.........

I love all scarves both current and vintage. I have an unmanageable wearing collection in a pile like a turmoil of snakes. I've added loads of your very wonderful scarves to my "Love" list. Maybe after Christmas when my finances are once more under my own control, I will revisit and buy. Hope so!xxxx
