  I am not a beer drinker and it was too hot to knock back the local vino

but the day was saved by the good ladies of the Upper Moutere Tennis Club.

New Models

Some young guests staying for a few days here in Nelson, NZ

had to sing for their supper.

In truth, they were happy to model these scarves for me and we had a lot of fun.

Some  of them are now in my travelling etsy shop.

crisis averted

Our computer was left in the x ray / security tray at the airport  ( not by me!) 

Fortunately,  our son was able to retrieve it and take it to our neighbours.  We were meeting up with them in Nelson, New Zealand a few weeks later.

So, no live  blogging from Los Angeles ( top pic)

missed it

I missed crowing about my 1111st sale at my etsy shop

Christmas took over.

and now I am at 1114 sales.

Promise that I will not blow my own horn again till

1234 ( a magical number dont you think? ) sales are reached ,

That may take quite a while.

Why wait?

It seems like yesterday that I sold scarf  #1000 from my etsy shop foulardfantastique

I had intended to post when I reached 1111 sales, but what the hell, I may as well boast now.


1100 sales have been reached and I am delighted.

1111 may take a little while. Perhaps  I will start thinking about Christmas now.
