Edwardian tea cozy that I use every day, worked on black bombazine, I always enjoy the motif. I think that I bought it in Kent about 30 years ago.

Lucky I like old curmudgeons.
ReplyDeleteI posted, then I read your post! I went to Nelson on my honeymoon in 1995 and it is lovely. I also think it is in The Piano, the movie with Holly Hunter. And I love the tea cosy from Kent.
ReplyDeleteHi Jan, Thanks for your comment about my ties patchwork block. You are so right about the quality of the fabrics - ties are totally wasted on men! I can't resist buying them in opshops. I also have a box of scarves, but not for patchwork - lol! Just love wearing them as an accessory. I've been reading your blog; you have some lovely vintage linens. This doiley is sweet, and the teacosy is gorgeous!
ReplyDeletehi!! Mary Anne is a person, she e- mailed me with an idea. Hope you are well!! Karen
