Apples

We are staying in the center of an apple growing district between Hastings and Havelock North.

The trees are laden with fruit, whether in the orchards or by the side of the roads.

Fabulous color, pattern and texture everywhere.

Such abundance.....

I hope the apple farmers are having a good season.

Oh, such a lovely part of the world. When I was at uni one of my flatmate's parents lived up that way and would send down a big box full of apples, every week. Brilliant.

Wow! Can't believe that's New Zealand! I live near Adams County, Pennsylvania, one of the centers for apple growing in the Eastern US and home of the National Apple Harvest Festival every October. Your photos could have been taken in Adams County! Wish I could upload pictures to the comment section to show you! Enjoy!
