market day and much more

This was my last day at St Lawrence Sunday Market for 2010. It was quite lively! The blue 70s dress and the applique 30s quilt (peeking out on the far left) found new homes.

as did a small collection of 30s grandmothers garden blocks.

but no interest in a pile of ethnic Asian fabrics.

A satisfied customer sports his latest purchase....

and my buddy Jeanette came with an all green table ; she does a different color every week.

First my fun team EtsyExpats are having a BNR treasury sale today. Its been a Herculean undertaking as, naturally we live all around the world, but the co-ordination has been fantastic. Do take a peek at 'around the world in a day' the colors and items change hourly. Lots of my vintage scarves have been featured...more about those another day.

This bold vintage sari has been used in two exotic treasuries this weekend.
Indian Christmas, Cynthia put this together, she hails from Colorado and makes the prettiest jewelry.

and Quick Trip to India....from Reeesa T who makes original, fun fleece items...all scalloped, they make you smile!

This 40s quilt top was part of 'Concentric lines, targets, or when stripes collide'.....an eyecatching original treasury from Edgetor, who has a sure eye when it comes to mid-century modern items.

All these treasuries and shops are well worth looking at.
