So forgive my rather poor display. I did not get around to photographing some of the other goodies there as I made sure that I sat as much as I could. Promise to do better in October. My good friend Marja helped me all day, she worked like a dog.
Some beaded cardis from the 50s and 60s.
I liked the spot I had, lots of natural light and I did reasonably well despite the fact I did not sell a single quilt. In October I will change the mix, perhaps some antique linens and bedspreads. Its always nice to meet a new crowd of clients.
I am exhausted and my feet still ache.
Wow, what wonderful items! I get a kick out of the beaded cardis. :) I still see them on the cruise ships on formal night. :))
ReplyDeleteditto on the feet!

ReplyDeleteGlad you had a good day, and it was worth the sore feet :) You have some really gorgeous stock there, everything looks so pretty and inviting. xx
ReplyDeleteJan I haven't been on my blog lately so just now catching up on my "blog friends". So sorry to hear you had to have a hip replacement! Hope you are having as much success with it however as my husband did two years ago when he had his. He was driving in just over two weeks and raves about no more hip pain (he does everything quick though - I don't believe his results are the norm). Speedy recovery to you!
ReplyDeleteWarm hugs,
Pam
